The Caloundra Regional Gallery's mission is to showcase the local visual arts through Gallery curated shows, touring exhibitions, and provide learning opportunities for the economic, cultural and social enhancement of their community. The Gallery is a permanent regional art gallery in which the facility and programs centre on excellence in visual arts practice with a strong educational focus.The Gallery is located in the converted 1970s former library building, Felicity House, Caloundra. The building is part of a civic and cultural precinct located in central Caloundra near the Caloundra Civic Cultural Centre, the Council Administration Building and the Caloundra City Library.

Beach Tandem Skydiving

Beach Tandem Skydiving - just go ahead and jump! Sunshine Coast Skydivers use the latest equipment and training methods - no experience or training is needed to make your first tandem skydive harnessed to one of their friendly, experienced Tandem Masters, (although they do give you a pre-skydive brief so you know what to look forward to!). Freefall 10 seconds from 6,000 feet, 45 seconds from 12,000 feet (Night Skydive jump height) or over a minute from 14,000 feet before floating serenely through the sky under a parachute built for two to a soft, beach landing. Seems amazing, but really, no experience is necessary to do your first tandem skydive - their skydiving instructors do all the work, so you have all the fun! With Beach Tandem Skydiving, you can tandem skydive over beautiful Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast with your Tandem Master. You will be supplied with briefing and all equipment. Then you will experience approximately 20 minutes worth of scenic flight to jump altitude with fantastic views over the stunning Sunshine Coast and Glasshouse Mountains!It’s 10 to 65 seconds of adrenalin-pumping, heart-racing, full-on magnificent freefall!
